Jewelry Repair

• Are repairs done in-house or shipped off?

All repairs are done in-house! We have 3 jewelers with years of experience under their belt on the premises.

• How long does it take for items to get repaired?

All repair timelines vary on the type of repair and work needed for your piece(s). As well as the amount work we already have lined up in our store. When you come in you may be able to tell you when it should be expected to be ready.

• How much is it to repair jewelry?

The price to repair jewelry will vary depending on the piece and the type of metal that it is. So in order for us to come up with a price for a broken chain or ring, bring it in and we’ll come up with an estimate for you.

• How much is it to resize my ring?

Ring resizing will vary depending on the design, the metal, and how many sizes we may need to go up or down. Because unfortunately, not all rings are created equal and have their own unique sort of work that needs to be done to them.

• My ring is white gold but it is starting to turn yellow. Why is it doing that? 

So here’s a little fun fact for you, White Gold is not a natural gold. White gold is gold mixed with white metals like palladium, nickel, or silver to help give it a white or silver color and add strength. It is often coated with a layer of rhodium to help give it a bright, white, and lustrous finish. After decent amount of time and exposure rhodium will wear off and begin to expose a warm tone on the ring.

• Do you restring pearls?

Yes! We do restring pearls and other beaded necklaces and bracelets. Pricing will vary on length and structure.

• My ring is stuck? Can you cut off my ring and then fix it?

Of course! If you are in desperate need of getting your ring(s) cut off we will do that for you at no charge. However once the ring cut off, we will need to wait 1 to 2 weeks for the base of your finger to get to a normal size.

• Do you offer jewelry appraisals for insurance purposes?

Yes, we do have jewelry appraisal services! Jewelry appraisal service for insurance start out at $85 for each piece. But price can fluctuate varying on the piece.

• Do you buy Gold or Silver?

We buy silver, gold, AND platinum! If you would like to know the buying price, please give us a call or come by the store.

• Do you buy diamonds?

No, unfortunately we do not buy diamonds.

• Do you make custom jewelry pieces?

Yes, we do! We are always creating custom pieces. About almost 50% of the jewelry pieces we have in our store are custom or customized pieces.

• Will you clean my jewelry?

We will definitely clean your jewelry! There is no charge for just a quick and simple cleaning. When it comes to cleaning we will also check your stones, if any, to make sure your ring remains in good condition for you to wear.

But if you are looking to get your ring polished and/or re-dipped, there is a fee for the service.

 

Watch Repair

• Do you replace batteries in watches?

Yes! We do indeed replace batteries in MOST watches. Batteries for watches start at $15 for each battery. But will end up varying on the watch, how many batteries it takes, and how many watches you bring in. We will need at least 1 hour to change the battery in your watch as we do no have anyone dedicated to only watches.

However, if you are looking to get a watch replaced on a high end watch and/or looking to get it resealed and pressure tested when replacing the battery, we will be unable to offer services for replacing your watch battery as we cannot guarantee water resistance or water-proofing for you watch. If you are looking to get your watch resealed properly, we highly recommend sending your watch directly back to the manufacturer.

• Do you remove links in watches?

Yes! We do remove links from watches. Link removal starts at $15 but price may vary on amount of links needed to be removed.

• Do you sell watch bands?

Yes, we do sell watch bands for most watches. Come in and we can provide a few options for you!

• My watch stopped working but I just changed the battery. Can you fix it?
• Do you work on Rolex? Or other high end watches?

No, we do not service Rolex or other high end watch brands. We highly recommend seeking a professional watchmaker or referring to the watch company when it comes to batteries, water-resistance testing, and any internal work that may need to be done.

• My watch is solar powered or automatic but isn’t working. Can you fix it?

Unfortunately, we cannot work on solar or automatic working watches as we do not have a professional watchmaker in our store. We highly recommend searching for an experienced watchmaker or reaching out the watch company that you watch is associated with.

• Do you sell watches?

Unfortunately, we do not sell watches. However, we do have 2 vintage ladies watches for any ladies who searching for a watch that has a little bit more to where it can pass as regular jewelry.

• Do you buy watches?

No, unfortunately we do not buy watches as there is not a large market for watches.
